Construction system

At Ubiko, we replace conventional brick with load-bearing walls of industrialised concrete.

We make made-to-measure projects: each piece is studied, designed and manufactured in a completely personalised way. Ubiko is an example of good architecture that is not at odds with industrialisation. On the contrary, they go hand in hand.

We build from a 2D industrialised concrete system in structure and envelope, applying the system’s advantages to offer the desired quality, control, and execution speed in each project.

How do we work?

01
Viraje_LP-64_
Viraje_LP-73

We design each project from scratch, starting with a 2D precast concrete system that acts as a structural element and architectural envelope.

All Phase 1 elements are manufactured in the factory and comply with all quality and product traceability certificates. Once produced, they are stored on pallets and transported to the construction site for subsequent assembly.

The features of each project are chosen together with the client before work begins, giving them personality and uniqueness.

The houses are assembled on-site following a work schedule studied down to the last millimetre. The assembly of the structure and envelope takes one week, and the completion of the building work takes approximately eight months.

Careful, coherent and sustainable architecture aligned with current environmental needs.

All our homes are turnkey, covering all phases of the process, from the initial design through the processing of building permits and all the necessary documentation to the construction in its entirety, guaranteeing that all the requirements are met.

Industrialization advantages

With the security of the Viraje holding company: more than 10 years of experience in the sector.

ventajas_industrialización
A project built through traditional construction can take 18-24 months to complete. With Ubiko, this time is reduced to 12-15 months without compromising quality. In addition, the house's structure is executed in an average of 5 days.
Return on investment. It is a faster construction system than traditional construction, so you can recover your investment quickly. It also frees resources up faster for other projects of interest.
With industrialised construction, costs are much more studied, controlled, predictable and stable. Indirect costs generated by material displacements, stockpiling and unnecessary movements are reduced considerably.
Industrialising construction reduces acoustic, visual, and waste impacts. Standardised processes and the concentration of the construction process in one industrial plant optimise and minimise the use of energy and materials. These remarkable reductions reduce breakage and material wastage. At the same time, recycling is maximised, and site debris and carbon footprint are minimised.
ventajas_industrialización_ubiko
Carrying out the construction system in the factory increases the quality of the process and finishes, reducing material waste. All the essential aspects of the project's volume, materiality, functionality, and economy have been previously defined.
Industrialisation does not mean standardisation. We offer projects on demand and ad hoc for each particular client. We use our experience, technology, and continuous research in R+D+I to achieve the finest customised results.
All the systems and materials have quality seals: ISO 9001, ISO14001, CE MARKING, and CIETAN SEAL.
We significantly reduce work accidents. Since everything occurs in a more controlled environment, less time is spent on site, which increases the safety of our entire team.

Energy efficiency

A team of technicians studies each project to ensure it is sustainable and energy efficient. To achieve this purpose, we combine passive architecture with insulation systems in parameters, roofs, and carpentry.
